Proven Bank is investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs through its partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) St. Lucia as a Silver Sponsor for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Through the partnership, Proven Bank is supporting Corinth Secondary School’s participation in the JA Company Programme, which provides students with hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and business while helping them develop essential skills in leadership, teamwork, financial literacy, communication, and decision-making. As part of the initiative, Proven Bank employees will serve as mentors and volunteers, giving students the opportunity to learn from professionals and connect classroom concepts with real-world business practices.

On September 24, 2026, Proven Bank’s Assistant Vice President – Business Development, Mrs. Angella Gonsalves Joseph, and Business Development Sales Officer, Ms. Neige Simpson, joined JA Executive Officer, Ms. Agnella Joseph, for a formal introductory session with students and Teacher Advisors, Mr. Payne, Ms. Nelson and Ms. Auguste at Corinth Secondary School.

During the engagement, students who participated in the programme during the previous academic year presented their business idea, which they have chosen to continue based on the ongoing need for their product within the school community.

In addressing the students, Mrs. Gonsalves – Joseph reaffirmed Proven Bank’s commitment to the programme, stating, “Proven Bank is pleased to partner with Junior Achievement St. Lucia and to extend our support to the students at Corinth Secondary School. We believe that young people benefit tremendously when they have opportunities to learn from professionals and experience how business works in the real world.”

Proven Bank’s representatives further demonstrated their commitment to the initiative by investing in the students’ business through the purchase of shares.

JA Executive Officer, Ms. Agnella Joseph, expressed her appreciation to Proven Bank for its partnership stating, “We are extremely grateful to Proven Bank for its partnership and commitment to our students. The support of corporate partners is critical to the success of the JA Company Programme. Beyond the financial contribution, having professionals willing to give their time, share their knowledge, and mentor our students adds tremendous value to students’ JA experience.”

Ms. Joseph also commended the enthusiasm demonstrated by the students and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunity by working diligently to develop and manage their business. She urged them to remain committed to completing the programme requirements, including liquidating the company, submitting their final reports, and fulfilling their responsibility to investors by paying the required dividends at the end of the programme cycle in June 2027.

The partnership reflects Proven Bank’s continued commitment to youth development and its investment in equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and practical knowledge needed to pursue future educational, entrepreneurial, and career opportunities.
