Parliamentary Representative for Castries North, Hon. Stephenson King, successfully hosted the annual “Carellie Ni Jaz” on Sunday, May 31, 2026, as part of Saint Lucia’s Community Jazz Festival celebrations.

First introduced in 2008, Carellie Ni Jaz has evolved into one of the most anticipated community events in Castries North, growing bigger and better with each passing year. This year’s edition attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd of residents, invited guests, and government officials who gathered to celebrate music, culture, and community spirit.

The event created a warm and vibrant atmosphere for all ages. Children enjoyed an exciting day of activities in the park while parents and guardians relaxed and were entertained by an impressive lineup of musical performances. Throughout the event, Hon. Stephenson King took the opportunity to walk through the venue, meeting and interacting with residents and visitors alike.

The evening concluded on a high note with electrifying performances from popular Saint Lucian soca artistes including Qpid, Alpha, Shemmy J, and several other talented performers who kept the crowd energized and engaged.
