The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) will host the official St. Lucia launch of Parents and Schools in Partnership: Enhancing School Improvement and Student Achievement through Collaboration, authored by veteran educator Anthony Alcide, on Friday, 20 March 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Hunter J. François Library Reading Room.
The book launch forms part of the College’s 40th Anniversary celebrations, marking four decades of excellence in education, scholarship, and national development. As SALCC reflects on its legacy and future direction, the publication aligns strongly with the institution’s commitment to educational quality, community engagement, and student success.

The launch is expected to be an enriching occasion for faculty, students, education professionals, parents, and members of the wider community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with key ideas and strategies that support educational development, collaborative practice, and shared responsibility in education. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
