The event featured a third-place playoff followed by the grand final, with an awards ceremony held afterward to honor participating teams. The finals day was originally postponed from the previous week due to an SLFA coaching license workshop.

The competing second stage included 10 district teams and the successsful cumulative districts included semi-finalists Vieux Fort South, Gros Islet, Mabouya Valley, and Central Castries, showcasing young talent from across Saint Lucia in a format emphasizing skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Third-Place Playoff

The day began with the third-place match at 10:00 a.m. between Central Castries and Gros Islet. Specific results for this game were not widely reported in available sources, but it set the stage for the main event, highlighting the competitive depth of the league.

Grand Final: Mabouya Valley vs. Vieux Fort South

The highlight was the grand final between unbeaten league leaders Mabouya Valley and Vieux Fort South. Mabouya Valley, seeking redemption after a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss in the 2024 final to Canaries (despite an unbeaten regular season that year), entered the match having conceded just one goal across the entire 2025 campaign and leading the league in goals scored.

Result: Mabouya Valley 3-0 Vieux Fort South.

Vieux Fort South defeated Gros Islet 1-0, with Benahim Poyotte scoring the winner in the 38th minute. Vieux Fort’s goalkeeper Keegan Henry made key saves. He has been a key figure in Vieux Forts current standing  to their eventual position

Mabouya Valley defeated Central Castries 3-0, with  goals by Keevan Louisy (43rd and 58th minutes) and Vjay Edwin  in the 52nd. Central Castries’ Quzard Eugene impressed in goal with several saves.These results underscored the high level of competition, with strong goalkeeping and clinical finishing defining the path to the final.

Awards and Recognition

Mabouya Valley swept individual honors:

  • Kevan Louisy MVP of the finals and top goal scores of the U12 District Boys tournament -17 goals
  • Vjay Edwin: Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament and best midfielder.
  • Delville Mathurin: G keeper  of the final
  • Zaied Willie and Shawneil Willie (brothers): Best defenders of the tournament.

The awards ceremony celebrated the development of youth football in Saint Lucia, promoting values like tenacity and teamwork.
