In other action at the FBL Grounds in Gros Islet this week, remarkable results emerged.

On Wednesday, the Saint Lucia U20 team clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory over Desruisseaux. Desruisseaux started strong with Stevie Henry scoring in the 28th minute and Davian Jetrum finding the net in the 65th minute, giving them a temporary lead.

However, the U20 team rallied back, with Shervon Byron showcasing his talent by scoring in the 55th and 90th minutes. Traylan Henry leveled the score in the 86th minute, sealing a dramatic comeback victory.

Anse La Raye defeated Laborie in a high-scoring affair, finishing 4-3. Laborie got off to a great start with Krishan Joyeux scoring in the 4th minute, but Anse La Raye responded with three quick goals within a 10-minute span.

Nangee Phillip equalized in the 9th minute, followed by Ray J Joseph in the 14th minute and the ever-reliable Eric Gabriel in the 18th minute. Javon Wilson capped off the performance with a goal in the 57th minute.

Despite Laborie’s fierce attempts to recover, with Donnaville Montroupe scoring in the 33rd minute and Justin Walter netting in the 83rd minute, it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
