
With the upcoming general elections heating up, the United Workers Party (UWP) has officially unveiled its full slate of 17 candidates at a national public meeting in Micoud North.
The event, themed “Right the Wrong”, showcased the party’s unwavering commitment to restoring good governance, driving economic growth, and implementing people-centered policies.
The UWP demonstrated remarkable strength and unity as thousands of enthusiastic supporters filled the venue. Led by Political Leader Allen Chastanet, the dynamic team of candidates ready to contest the upcoming elections was presented to an animated and supportive crowd.

This impressive slate is spearheaded by what the UWP proudly regards as its “visionary Political Leader,” Allen Chastanet, who will re-contest the Micoud South constituency.
In his assertive address, Chastanet laid out the UWP’s vision for rebuilding Saint Lucia, highlighting urgent priorities such as lowering the cost of living, tackling crime, creating opportunities for youth, revitalizing the economy, and ensuring superior healthcare and education systems.
