This year’s highly anticipated Olympics take place July 26 to August 11 and Julien was among four athletes named last weekend by the Saint Lucia Olympics Committee to represent the island in Paris.

Julien, the lone brand ambassador of 1st National Bank for the past two years, has always made the bank proud of its investment in her talent, as she’s continued her winning ways ever-since.

The international speedster has clocked wins in almost every major race she’s run this year. On May 25, she placed second in the Women’s 100 meters at the Eugene Diamond League Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon (USA), with a season’s best time of 10.93 seconds. On July 9, Julien won the women’s 200 meters at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial in 22.16 seconds to win her first Diamond League Gold medal. Three days later, on July 12, Julien broke her personal (May 25) record, when she won the women’s 100 meters at the Monaco Diamond League in 10.85 seconds.

Julien is set to take centre stage on August 3 and 6, at the Stade De France for the women’s 100m and 200m finals respectively – granted she passes all rounds.

Julien has always acknowledged 1st National Bank as a supporter of her career and one she will forever be grateful for.

1st National Bank joins the Government of Saint Lucia and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee and other sporting entities in wishing Julien the greatest of success on August 3 and 6. 1st National Bank also urges all Saint Lucians to catch all the Olympic highlights on Helen Television System (HTS) who is the official broadcaster for the games in Saint Lucia for which the bank is title sponsor in support of Julien.
