Gillian Fellus Sonson alias “Makak” of Dugard, Micoud has been arrested and charged with the murder of Vern Joseph.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force commenced investigations into Joseph’s murder last Friday, September 8, 2023.
It was on that same day the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered near a bus shelter, with lacerations to the neck region.
On Monday, September 11, 2023, Sonson was charged with the Murder of Joseph. He was presented before the Magistrate’s Court, where bail was denied, and he was remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
