The St. Lucia Football Association Inc. has advised that teams should recommence their training for the continuation of the Island Cup Men’s Championship and the Senior Women’s Championship which will restart in the next two weeks. The Under 17 Boys Championship will also restart in the next two weeks.
This information is based on discussion that St. Lucia Football Association Inc. President, Mr. Lyndon Cooper had with the authorities on the matter.
The specific details will be provided later.
In the meantime, the Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. and the FreeKick Foundation have agreed to host the 2022 Under 19 Boys District Championship during the Easter weekend,16,17, & 18 April 2022 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground. This championship will act as the qualifier for the SLFA/Freekick International Youth Cup proposed for July 2022 in Saint Lucia.
For the Easter Under-19 Boys District Championship please take note of the following documents with the various submission deadline dates, which must be adhered to.
The Consent Form – Deadline submission date – 11th February 2022, the Team Registration Form – Deadline submission date – 18th February 2022, the Team Uniform Colours Form – Deadline submission date – 18th February 2022.
