SLFA Women’s League Contest Continues

On Monday, August 31, the SLFA Inc. Senior Women’s competition continued at the Francis “Baba” Lastic Grounds in Gros Islet.

The Canaries team demonstrated their offensive prowess, showcasing an impressive performance against Vieux Fort North, winning decisively with a score of 19-0.

The halftime score was 13-0, highlighting the Canaries’ relentless attack throughout the match.

Canaries’ goal-scoring spree featured three hat tricks: Kayla Solomon found the net in the 3rd, 10th, and 14th minutes, while T Auguste scored in the 4th, 35th, and 57th minutes.

Additional contributions included braces from Steffany Allain (15’ and 32’), Daria Tisson (16’ and 53’), Tangi Lansiquot (20’ and 63’), and Mikege Prospere (22’ and 43’). Other goals came from Casandra Shepherd (13’), Tiffany Allain (18’), Marrissa Duncan (29’), Racquel John (45’), and an own goal credited to Tamara Edward (24’).

The Canaries remain unbeaten in the contest, further establishing their dominance in the league.
