The championship kicked off on May 24th at the SLFA Technical Center in Grand Riviere Dennery, featuring teams divided into two competitive groups. The Southern Group comprised nine teams: Soufriere, Choiseul, Laborie, Vieux Fort South, Desruisseaux, Micoud, Mon Repos, Dennery, and Mabouya Valley, while the Northern Group included eight teams.
Soufriere and Vieux Fort South have cemented their spots in the next stage of the championship by finishing second and third, respectively, in the group stage. Their success is a testament to their exceptional teamwork, tactical discipline, and an unwavering drive to win.
Both teams exhibited remarkable skill and determination, consistently overcoming fierce opponents and thriving under pressure. This achievement not only reflects the talent and dedication of the young athletes but also showcases the invaluable support from their coaches, league administrators, and enthusiastic parents.

An SLFA spokesperson commended the Choiseul Football League and Laborie Football League for their spirited participation, even though they did not advance. Their remarkable heart, discipline, and unity throughout the tournament earned them great respect from opponents and supporters alike.
