
The St. Lucia football community is proving once again that St. Lucia has the capacity to move up the ranks in the regional football environment.
The Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. (SLFA) has announced that three Saint Lucians have been appointed to FIFA Standing Committees.
President of the Vieux Fort South Football League Ms. Examin Philbert has been appointed to the FIFA Women’s National Team Competitions Committee. Philbert is also the Manager of the St. Lucia National Women’s Football Team. Dr. Natasha Innocent, who is the travelling doctor for the national female teams has been appointed to the FIFA Medical Committee. Innocent is one of the doctors assigned to the St. Lucia Semi Professional Football Tournament (SPFL). SLFA President and President of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Mr. Lyndon Cooper was appointed Deputy Chairman of the FIFA Development Committee.
