
Twenty-two public servants were recognized for their outstanding achievements at the 2nd Annual Minister for The Public Service Top Performer Awards Ceremony, held on September 27, at Sandals Grande. The event celebrated the hard work and commitment of individuals who have enhanced public service delivery across the island.

Minister for the Public Service, Dr. Virginia Albert-Poyotte, praised nominees for their exceptional work, emphasizing the importance of dedication, integrity, and high-performance standards in the public service. Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre also attended.

Fidelia Ismael from the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports took home the award for Top Performer of the Year. Ismael received a trophy, a US $2,500 cheque, and gift certificates from Colombian Emeralds and Purity Day Spa.

The ceremony aligns with the department’s mission to reposition and rebrand the Public Service.
