Team Saint Lucia Returns from Billie Jean King Cup Competition

The Saint Lucia Women’s National Tennis Team has confidently returned home after a week of intense competition at the Billie Jean King Cup Group III Americas held in El Salvador.

The squad, comprising Jessica Eudovic, Stacey Roheman, Julia d’Auvergne, and Jarlyn Henry, secured 6th place overall in the tournament, marking another significant achievement for Saint Lucia Tennis.

Each player fought valiantly on the court, showcasing their grit, determination, and passion for the game. Their outstanding performances not only instilled pride in the nation but also highlighted the strength and potential of Saint Lucia’s women in tennis.

The St Lucia Tennis Association (SLTA) expresses its heartfelt gratitude to its sponsors—the St Lucia Olympic Committee and the National Lotteries Authority—for their unwavering support in fully funding the team’s participation. The Association also acknowledges its own financial contributions, which were crucial for the team’s success on this international platform.

A special acknowledgement goes to team captain Stacey Roheman, whose leadership, discipline, and encouragement were pivotal in guiding the squad throughout the competition. The Association also extends its sincere thanks to Anderson and Janelle Henry, who provided invaluable support in El Salvador.
