This season’s Prime Minister’s Cup Football competition in the Marchand Football League has kicked off with thrilling matches.
In the opening fixture on Sunday, Entrepot defeated Lacoudo 3-2 in close encounter.
Entrepot took an early lead with Joshua la Force converting in the 25th minute, followed by Farad Placid scoring in the 53rd minute and Shervon King adding a third in the 74th minute.
Lacoudo fought hard but ultimately fell short against their rivals. Yannick George scored for Lacoudo in the 40th minute, and Jaylan Gabriel added another in the 55th minute, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
In the second game, Arundel Hill secured a 1-0 victory over Rock Hall, thanks to a crucial goal from Andres Remy.
