PM Pierre Delivers Second Consecutive December Bonus for Civil Servants

.

Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has confirmed that civil servants will receive a special bonus with their December 2025 salaries.

This announcement was made during the 37th Annual General Meeting of the Castries East Constituency, where the Prime Minister emphasised his government’s unwavering commitment to workers and families.

For the first time in Saint Lucia’s history, civil servants will benefit from consecutive December bonuses under this Administration. This, according to the government, marks a significant shift in how the public service is treated.

In December 2024, the Government of Saint Lucia granted each civil servant a $500 bonus.

According to a release from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), extending this initiative into 2025 underscores the Administration’s steadfast recognition of the invaluable contributions of public officers in maintaining essential services and driving national development.

It adds, this measure clearly demonstrates the Government’s determination to prioritise workers and families at the heart of its national agenda.
