On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at about 7:50 p.m., Police Officers from the Marigot Police Station responded to a report of a shooting at Coolie Town, Marigot, which resulted in the death of one male.
First responders discovered an unresponsive male victim at the scene, bearing apparent gunshot wounds to the torso. Personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service attended to the victim; however, he succumbed to his injuries. A medical doctor who was summoned to the scene confirmed the victim’s death.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Kade JnBaptiste, alias “Kape,” of Derrière Lagoon, Jacmel.
