The men and women’s squads representing the Saint Lucia Volleyball Federation (SLVF) for the upcoming Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Under-21 Beach Volleyball Championships have been announced.
The championships will take place in Saint Kitts and Nevis from August 30th to September 1st. This prestigious event will bring together 13 teams from 11 countries, all competing for a chance to participate in the FIVB Beach Volleyball Under-21 World Championship in Georgia in July 2025.
The men’s team consists of Daniel Joseph and Rayquan Francis, students from the Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School.
The women’s team will feature Ketrice Jules from Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) and Marie Therese St. Claire from St. Joseph’s Convent (SJC).
Earlier this year, these four student-athletes represented their respective learning institutions at the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports’ Under-19 Volleyball Tournament.
Terry Verdant will accompany the team as Head Coach. The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports extends its best wishes to the team for success in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
