NWU, Buckeye Partners Still in Negotiations

Officials from the management of Buckeye Partners St. Lucia Terminal, along with the leadership of the National Workers Union (NWU) and shop stewards employed within the branch, continue to meet to advance industrial relations negotiations.

Both parties have expressed their commitment to concluding these negotiations as swiftly as possible. They anticipate that the resulting industrial accord will include salary increases, enhanced working conditions, and improved fringe benefits.

Buckeye, operating within the Cul de Sac industrial zone and employing a sizeable workforce, is dedicated to finalising a signed industrial agreement with the National Workers Union.

The National Workers Union is the authorised bargaining agent for all employees of the company.
