Kidznet Summer Programme Comes to an End

Participants who enrolled in the Kidznet Summer Programme at the Vigie Multi-Purpose Sports Complex certainly enjoyed their experience.

Alice Lynch, a former national netballer and coach attached to the Ministry of Youth Development was the facilitator of the programme.

Youth Development and Sports Officer in the Ministry of Sports, Clivus Jules, visited the camp recently.

“Hope you had an excellent opportunity to have fun with your peers, visited places of interest, engaged in various sporting activities, and learnt lifelong skills,” Jules told participants.

One of the Kidznet facilitators, Darnel Pierre, explained that the campers were involved in several activities such as horseback riding, swimming and other sporting activities. The youngsters also received tokens for keeping their area clean.

Other prominent guest speakers from the Fisheries Department, the Ministry of Health, Massy Stores and the Marine Unit (RSLPF) also spoke to the youngsters.

After an exciting experience, the Kidznet Summer Programme came to an end yesterday.
