On Friday, August 16, 2024, around 2:15 a.m., the Micoud Police Station received a distressing report about a fatal vehicular collision on the Mon Repos Highway. The incident involved a pedestrian and an unidentified motorist.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the lifeless body of a male who had suffered fatal injuries. The victim has been identified as Shervon James, also known as “Shankal” or “Cocoboy,” from Church Street in Dennery.
Tragically, the motorist responsible for the collision fled the scene, leaving authorities with no immediate leads. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is urgently appealing to anyone with information about this incident to contact the Micoud Police Station at 456-3670. Additionally, anonymous tips can be submitted through the Crime Hotline (555) or the RSLPF Crime Hotline App.
