Community Seed Mentors Aim to Transform Lives

TEN PARTICIPANTS COMPLETE FOOD TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME

Ten graduates of the recently concluded Seed Mentor Training Program are now equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge to guide and support potential Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in the community of Fond St. Jacques.

These dedicated individuals have completed a comprehensive two-month training program facilitated by the EcoFood Training and Certification Agency. This train the trainer initiative is an offshoot of the Community Business Revitalization Project—a collaboration of the Taiwan Technical Mission and the Small Business Development Centre within the Ministry of Commerce.

The training covered:

  • Training and Workshop Facilitation,
  • Introduction to Agro-Processing,
  • Food Safety and Hygiene,
  • Sustainable Culinary Operation,
  • Food Business Fundamentals, and
  • Digital Marketing.
