On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at approximately 8:00pm., the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Castries, received a report of a suspected drowning.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a male individual was conveyed to the Owen King European Union (OKEU) Hospital via ambulance, after the Saint Lucia Fire Service personnel responded to an emergency near the beach at Sunny Acres, Castries.
The deceased has been identified as twenty-seven-year-old (27) Andre Alton Rudolphe of Plateau, Babonneau.
