Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-14 Boys Challenge Series

Head coach Stuart Charles-Fevreire has finalised a 20-man squad for the upcoming Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-14 Boys Challenge Series, which takes place in Trinidad and Tobago from August 16-25.

Saint Lucia takes on Sint Martin in its opening match on Friday 16, at the Alto Bolton Stadium, followed by clashes against Bonaire (Saturday 17), Bermuda (Monday 19) and Grenada (Tuesday 20) at the Alto Bolton Stadium and Larry Gomes stadium respectively.

The current group of players came through the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) training program under the watchful eyes of Charles-Fevrier and his assistant Earl Jean.

“Our preparations for the CFU U-14 Challenge Series have been nothing short of intense and my goal is to develop a better player for the future of Saint Lucia football. The quality of a player in modern football is very important, ” Charles said at a media launch earlier this week.

According to the coach the boys have pushed themselves to the extreme in every training session, showing incredible commitment and determination and. He said the team is focused on going to Trinidad and Tobago to win.
