
The Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) recently organized a two-day (June 29 – 30) D License Coaching Course for its Northern Zone Affiliates.
Coaches from the Northern Zone participated in the course, which was held at the SLFA’s base in la Clery, covered both theoretical and practical sessions. Participating coaches were selected by their clubs from the respective leagues to attend.
Topics included Session Planning, Child Safeguarding, Tactical & Technical Preparation, and Managing Mistakes. Terrance Caroo and John Sealy, technical officers from the SLFA, facilitated the course.
The SLFA emphasised the importance of capacity-building within the league’s developmental programmes and its commitment to elevating standards for member affiliates.
