RSLPF Executes Multifaceted Operations in Jacmel

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) yesterday engaged in diverse operations involving multiple departments as well as the deployment of resources from neighbouring territories. The operation was conducted in the community of Jacmel, quarter of Anse La Raye.

Following leads in an ongoing investigation, the contingent of law enforcement officials proceeded to an area, where they searched approximately five households. The scale of the operation required thorough examinations both above and below ground level on the targeted premises.

Although no materials of evidentiary value were recovered during the operation, it provided law enforcement with valuable insights and two male suspects were apprehended in connection with the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile yesterday, the RSLPF also reported that the bail hearing for Junior Joseph and Rufillia Agard concluded on Friday, May 3.

The court has decided on their bail conditions as follows:

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗺: Bail set at XCD20,000.00 cash or suitable surety and submission of land documents.

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Bail set at XCD10,000.00 cash or suitable surety and submission of land documents.

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠: Bail set at XCD2,500.00 cash or suitable surety and submission of land documents.

• 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: Bail set at XCD2,500.00 cash or suitable surety and submission of land documents.

𝗥𝘂𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠: Released on own recognizance in the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars XCD2,500.00.
