On Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12:30 PM, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) made a significant discovery in La Croix Maingot, Marigot. During a traffic operation, officers from the Special Services Unit stopped a motor vehicle occupied by four males.
Upon inspecting the vehicle and its occupants, the police found a 9mm pistol with one magazine and eleven rounds of ammunition. As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged with the offenses of Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition:
1. Shervon John, a twenty-two-year-old resident of Marigot.
2. Shequan Joseph, a nineteen-year-old resident of Marigot.
3. Dellian Gonzaque, a thirty-year-old resident of Marigot.
4. Maximin Duncan, a thirty-two-year-old resident of Marigot.
The four suspects have been granted bail of XCD25,000 each which could either be in cash, suitable surety or land documents.
