THE Saint Lucia Athletics Association has announced the team that will represent Saint Lucia at the 51st Edition of the CARIFTA Championship to be held in St George’s, Grenada from 29th March -1st April 2024.

A team of 17 athletes, comprising nine females and eight male are selected to participate in these games. Two of them took part in the 2023 CARIFTA games. The team also includes two athletes who represented Saint Lucia at the age group championship in Santo Domingo in June 2023. The athletes will be supported and accompanied by a manager, two coaches and a physio.

● Jady Emmanuel (Choiseul Athletics) – 100m, 200m, 4x400m Mixed Relay
● Tesley Lesporis (Elite)- 400m, 4x400m
● Casya Paul (Pacesetters) – 400m, 4x400m
● Maiya Landers (Pacesetters) – 800m, 4 x 400m
● Isabella Emilienne (St Lucia Sports Academy) – 4 x 400m
● Ricardo Mann (Abilene) – Long Jump, 4 x400 Mixed Relay
● Alex Devaux (St Mary’s College)- 800m, 1500m, 4 x400 Mixed Relay
● Omarion Edwin (St Mary’s College)- 3000m
● Sherquan Joseph (Soufriere) – 100m

● Naya Jules (St Lucia Sports Academy) – Pole Vault, Javelin
● Alexandra Johnson (Tucson Magnet High) – Pole Vault, High Jump, 4 x 400 m Mixed Relay
● Hannah Charles (Wolmer High School/Rockets Athletics)- 400 m, 4 x 400 Mixed Relay
● Denzel Phillips (Jamaica College) – Discus, Shot Put
● Kadeem Larcher (SP Survivors) – 100m
● Rayshawn Harris (Pacesetters) – 800m
● Kimalie Theodore (Rockets Athletics)- 200m, 400m, 4 x 400 Mixed Relay
