THE finals of the SLFA Under-10 Boys championships will be played tomorrow (Sunday) and features Monchy FC and Black Panthers, at the Grande Riviere Playing Field from 12.00 noon. 

The match will be preceded by the Third Place Play Off between CT Foundation and DCYO at 10.00 am.

The semifinals took place on February 18 at the Grande Riviere Playing Field, in Gros Islet between Monchy United and CT Foundation.

Monchy United goal scorer was Daniel Sleiman whilst CT Foundation goal was scored by Vjay Edwin ending in an exciting 1- 1 draw. In the ensuing penalty shoot-out Monchy prevailed 2 – 0, with goalkeeper Rhyland Joseph pulling off two fine saves.

Black Panthers dominated DCYO winning 6 – 1. Panthers goal scorers were Kendall Allain with a hattrick. Alayomi Cazaubon, Braeden Tisson and Paxson Wilson each scored a goal.

Cameron Joseph pulled one back for DCYO.

In other updates;

Matches continued in the SLFA Inc. U-17 competition, at the Desruisseaux Playing Field.

On February,10 Valley Soccer, with a goal from Rawson Harris in the 65th minute edged out Lancers FC1 – 0. DCYO failed to show up for their encounter against Victory Eagles.

To date the points standings are as follows:

Group A –

Northern United – 16 pts., Lancers – 15 pts., Valley Soccer – 13 pts., GMC United – 9 pts., and CT Foundation – 9 pts.

Group B –

Black Panthers – 19 pts., Uptown Rebels – 18 pts., Shamballah Shiloh – 13 pts., DCYO – 12 pts. and Challengers 10 pts.

The two top teams from each group advances to the semifinals.

Notably, eight teams participated in Group A and nine in Group B.

Elsewhere, Black Panthers came from two goals down to defeat Shamballa Shiloh 3 – 2 in the SLFA Inc. U-17 Boys championship at the Desruisseaux Playing Field to top their group and advance to the semifinals.

Panthers got their goals from Màńìçhé Pierre-Louis 54th, Cy Alcindor 73rd and Tevez Brandis 78th; minutes while Obafami Poyotte had previously scored a brace for Shambala Shilloh in the 33rd and 37th minutes.
