The 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Lions Club of Gros Islet has been scheduled for Saturday February 24, 2024 at the Sandals St. Lucia Golf and Country Club, Cap Estate.
The Charity Golf Tournament is the major fund-raising activity for the Lions Club of Gros Islet. The “Kids In-Sight” project that has saved the sight of hundreds of children in Saint Lucia since its initiation in 2007, will be one of the main beneficiaries of the event.
“This project, executed in collaboration with the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association, draws on the skill and expertise of a team of pediatric eye surgeons and specialists who visit Saint Lucia annually to assist our kids by treating medical problems with the quality of their vision. While on island, their local costs are covered by the Lions Clubs of Saint Lucia,” stated a release from Club.
