Winners TV continues to bring the best of sport to the nation with three days of live coverage of scintillating track and field competition of the CARIFTA Games 2023 scheduled from April 8th to April 10th in Nassau, Bahamas. The CARIFTA Games is the Caribbean’s biggest track and field event of 2023 featuring the region’s best junior track and field athletes.
During this exciting Easter holiday weekend, a national team of young track and field athletes will represent St. Lucia in the sprints, pole vault, high jump, middle distance and throwing events at the 50th edition of the CARIFTA Games.
Team St. Lucia consists of sprinters – Naomi London and Cagini Pilgrim, pole vaulters Jeremiah Felix, Arthur Lee William and Naya Jules, middle distance runner – Sierrantina Hilaire, throwers – Denzil Phillips, and Joy Edward, and high jumper – Jenneil Jacobie. Accompanying the team are Team Manager – Dora Henry, and Coaches – Makeba Alcide and Andy Behl.
Excitement is high in the St. Lucia camp as the team sees a few pathways to medals across multiple events.
Support from home is expected to be tremendous as St. Lucians will cheer on the compatriots while watching the events live on Winners TV – St. Lucia’s Sports Network, an official broadcaster of the 50th edition of the CARIFTA Games in St. Lucia.
