Babonneau and Laborie were amongst the early winners as the Dream 11 St Lucia T10 Blast 2022 took off at the Daren Sammy Cricket Grounds [DSCG], in Gros Islet.
Last Friday, the popular contest was with Babonneau Leatherbacks registering a win over Dennery Segment Rising Stars by 23 runs.
Shervon Joseph top scored for the Leatherbacks with an unbeaten 53runs off 26 balls, which included 2 fours and 4 sixes to post a total of 96 for 4. Alvin Lafeuille got 19 off 11 with 2×4.
For Rising Stars, Maius Stanislaus took 2 for 10 off 2 overs, while Zenus Modeste had 1 for 20 off 2 overs.
Rising Stars could only muster 73 for 2 with Dylan Thomas striking 20 off 28, 1×6; while Alex Regis scored 14 from 12, 2×4.
Thomas Caleb bagged 2 for 1 off 2 overs for the Leatherbacks.
In the second match, Laborie Bay Royals triumphed over Invictus Desruisseaux by 8 wickets.

This year’s T10 Blast tournament runs from May 6 to 20, and according to organisers, spectators are allowed entry on showing proof of vaccination.
