Piton District Commemorative Labels Campaign wins BIG!


Piton Beer has copped silver at the 2022 American Advertising Awards in the category of Social Media Campaign.  The announcement came in March by the Caribbean Advertising Federation.

Last year, in observance of Saint Lucia’s 42nd Independence, Piton Beer released its commemorative labels which celebrated the true essence of every corner of the island showcasing 10 districts island, dubbed the “My Community Campaign”.

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s most comprehensive and prestigious competition recognizing creative excellence in advertising. Forty-six companies from the Caribbean submitted more than 670 entries into the competition.

Senior Category Manager for Beers at Heineken Saint Lucia, Sylvester Henry says “We are truly delighted about this news. This campaign was focused on celebrating the essence of Saint Lucia and the contribution of every community with its own unique identity, and this award is testament that the message was impactful. In addition, 2022 is a symbolic year for Piton Beer celebrating 30 years, so this award is appropriately timed, as we hope to continue to instil a sense of pride and belonging in each Saint Lucian”.
