TWO matches are on the cards this evening in the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc sponsored Scotts Sports and Awards Club Championship Division 2, fixtures that were changed as a result of changes in the current curfew protocol.
Diamond Ballers will face Togetherness Youth at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds (PMG) while Lancers FC plays 1987 All Stars at the Anse La Raye playing field.
Both matches kick off at 5.00 p.m.
Last evening, (Tuesday 24th), Bays FC took on Victory Eagles FC at the PMG and RV Juniors played B1 FC at the Anse La Raye playing field.
Meanwhile, last Saturday, in the lone match played at the SLFA Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery, the National Under 20 team with an all-round display made light work of Diamond Ballers FC defeating them 5 – 0.
They got their goals with a brace from Stephen Octave in the 69th and 86th minute and the others from Daneo Caroo 32nd, Dahmarnie Berthier 34th and Canius Sandiford 45th minute.
At the Anse La Raye playing field, New Generations FC overcame a stubborn T Valley FC edging them out 3 – 2.
Scoring for New Generations FC were Phillip Ishmael with a brace while Yanic Noel scored the other. Chancy Paul scored a brace for T Valley FC.
