IT is with utmost pride that The University of the West Indies Alumni Asso-ciation (UWIAA) Saint Lucia Chapter extends heartfelt congratulations to Honourable Philip Joseph Pierre – Prime Minister of Saint Lucia on his re-sounding victory in the recent general elections.
It brings The UWIAA Saint Lucia Chapter immense gratification to see one of our very own UWI Alumnus rise to victory to serve in the distinguished ca-pacity as Prime Minister of Saint Lucia – indeed a shining example for aspir-ing alumni.
As a well-recognized, professional organization, The UWIAA takes pride in our alma mater – The University of the West Indies and strives to preserve the Pelican Pride and Pelican Spirit among our alumni family. The UWIAA comprises UWI graduates who continue to give their time, talent and knowledge towards fostering a strong alumni connection and maintaining the sustainability of our University.
With the First Session of the Twelfth Parliament having been held on August 17th, 2021, we take this opportunity to wish the Honourable Prime Minister and his esteemed Cabinet of Ministers success, as through their collective efforts and fortitude we remain confident that our Saint Lucia will continue to rise to excellence.
