THE St Lucia Labour Party (SLP) has cautioned its supporters to beware of persons masquerading in the SLP’s party colours.
An SLP spokesperson said the party had received reports concerning activities emanating in the constituencies of Castries East and Castries South, where persons were seen wearing red T-shirts with the tag line ‘Keeping it Real’, printed at the front and claiming that it was from the SLP.
The SLP reiterates that “these branded persons do not represent the SLP” and called on the perpetrators to stop the misrepresentation.
“We call on the public to be vigilant as these persons masquerade in constituencies to create confusion and distractions,” the SLP official added.
The SLP says that St Lucians are ready “to let their voices be heard and will not fall for these cheap tricks.”
It further states that June, 6 will be five years, since the last general elections and St Lucians are increasingly asking for the upcoming elections to be called, as “it is time to vote and put the people first.”
