The Sandals Foundation has been liaising directly with the National Emergency Management Organization NEMO in St Vincent and the Grenadines and last weekend shipped its first set of relief supplies, including water, sanitizers, masks, tinned foods and toiletries, to the stricken multi-island CARICOM member-state.
The Sandals Foundation is also shipping a full container of water to SVG and the Foundation says it ‘remains ready to respond to further calls for assistance, including from Barbados.’
Apart from the Foundation’s work, Sandals St Lucia team members have also pitched-in to help relief efforts on a personal level to assist their neighbors in SVG.
