Investigations into the island’s latest shooting incident are currently on the way.
On Monday, April 26th, 2021, at approximately 9:15 p.m., emergency responders attached with the fire service headquarters were alerted to a shooting incident in the Faux-a- Chaud community.
On arrival, a male in his fifties was found lying on his back on the ground and in the care of police officers.
An assessment of the victim revealed that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds about his body. He was transported to the Owen King European Union Hospital in a stable condition.
