The age-defying, hardworking and never slowing down music star released “If God Is For Us” on May 1, 2020, an inspiring, uplifting, and catchy Reggae song. According to the Big Ship crooner, “This song was recorded years ago. At first when I heard the rhythm, it inspired the lyrics which came flowing instantly. I decided to do a reproduction of “If God Is For Us,” and so I teamed up with popular Jamaican music producer Dalton Browne to re-record the song.
During the production process, we realized that the song’s lyrical content and message is in conjunction with what is happening in the world today, amid the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) which puts normal lifestyles to a staggering halt, where many people are turning to inspirational songs for comfort… something to help them adjust through the quarantine. Music can be therapeutic, especially in times like these.”
“If God Is For Us” is available on all major online digital music platforms for purchasing. The single will be featured on Freddie McGregor’s upcoming album which will be the 41st album added to his music career resume. “If God Is For Us” will be accompanied with a music video – presently, the concept is being formulated.
It has been two weeks since the song has been released and it’s already gaining massive traction on radio stations in the Caribbean, UK, U.S.A. and Africa. On May 4, 2020, the single entered on the Clinton Lindsay South Florida Top 25 Reggae Chart, powered on The Foundation Radio Media Network.
