MATCHES continue in the group stage of the 2018 Corporate Warfare Futsal tournament at the Beausejour Indoor Practice Facility tomorrow evening with four exciting games on card.
Like previous outings under the banner of Timeout Entertainment, a number of Futsal fans are expected to converge at the BIPF to take in the showpiece which kicks off from 6.30 p.m. that’s when Digicel takes on Top Ranking Electrical in the first encounter.
In game 2, defending champions, Peter and Company Distributions (PCD) takes on Unicomer at 7.30 p.m.
Game 3, is an all teachers derby, Saint Lucia Teachers Union will come up against Saint Lucia Teachers Credit Corporative at 8.30 p.m. The two teams to date have scored a combined 40 goals between them.
To bring the curtains down, game 4, KM2 Solutions plays the Public Service at 9. 30 p.m.
Last evening, at the same venue, Beachcomber took on Sandals Halcyon at 6.30 p.m., followed by Bel Jou against DBC at 7.30 p.m. and Civil Service played Bankers Association at 8.30 p.m. to wrap things up.
To date 290 goals have been scored in the 44 matches played.
In the top five teams, Sandals La Toc lead the charge with 29 goals, Saint Lucia Teachers Union has found the back of the nets 26 times, followed by FLOW with 26, Saint Lucia Teachers Credit Corporative 17, 1-888 Go Answer and WASCO tied on 14 for fifth place.
In terms of individual goals scored, Ferguson St.Clair with 13 goals (Sandals La Toc), Anthony Christopher (FLOW), Lynch Isidore (SLTU), Nehemiah Wilfred (SLTCC), and Ted Lawrence (Sandals Grande) tied with 8 goals, Nicarge Edward with 6 (Sandals La Toc), Javis Joseph (PCD) and MahvyRismay (BuiltecInc) tied with 5 goals.
