This year’s Franchise Awards took place in Las Vegas, Nevada against the backdrop of the SEMA show – the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. Automotive Art, the Caribbean’s largest automotive aftermarket retailer, currently operates nine franchises throughout the Caribbean: Antiqua, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts, St Lucia, Suriname and the Turks and Caicos

St Lucia also won another double accolade at the award ceremony – with the Vieux Fort branch of Automotive Art St Lucia being bestowed the “Performance Award – Small Store” for 2017 and 2018.

Overall, St Lucia was the biggest winner of the night – bagging a total of four out of twelve possible awards.

Automotive Art St Lucia’s General Manager, Mr. Lyndell Halliday was ecstatic about the company’s performance and recognition.

He said, “Our mandate is to provide exceptional customer experiences to car owners and an important ingredient in doing this has been building an A1 team here in St Lucia. I am excited to see that our team has consistently delivered and I am proud of the staff and our performance. I am also very grateful to our loyal customer base.”

Mr, Halliday was particularly sentimental about the back to back “Performance Award – Small Store” earned by the Vieux Fort Store.

“Vieux Fort is very important to us. We have recognized that our customers in Vieux Fort have a special passion for their cars and in fact, some of our most outstanding team members are from the south.

Over the years, we have seen many businesses downsize their Vieux Fort operations or shutter them entirely but we have resolved to stay the course in order to serve the needs of our customers.”

Mr Halliday promised that Automotive Art will be unveiling exciting plans for the south in the coming months.

Automotive Art is the Caribbean’s largest Auto-Care retailer of car enhancement products and services. With its corporate headquarters in Barbados, it currently trades in over 60 countries, inclusive of 15 Automotive Art franchise stores in nine countries throughout the Caribbean.

Automotive Art operates two stores in St Lucia: Vide Boutielle, Castries and New Dock Road, Vieux Fort.
