A French national was today rescued by party goers on a boat ride near Canaries.
According to sources the man claimed that he and two other companions had been lost at sea for three days after their vessel encountered difficulties and eventually sank.
Marine police were notified and the individual was taken to hospital for observation.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the men’s troubles started in neighbouring Martinique.
A search has ensued for his two other companions.
