Police in Castries are investigating reports of shots fired on Sunday afternoon.
It happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Jeremie street in Castries.
Church goers reported hearing four to five-gun shots in the vicinity and seeing a huge crowd converge around the area.
“One man was on the ground and appeared to be bleeding from his neck,” a frantic worshiper revealed, while another exclaimed that his “face appeared to be peeling off.”

It is unclear what prompted the shooting on the day of worship, but witnesses believe the shooting was not a random event and it could be drug related.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call the nearest police station.
