Ti Rocher Football Club (Micoud) held its second annual awards ceremony at TiRocher Combined School last Saturday evening.
Andre Joseph captured the award for Best Defender and Most Valuable Player, edging out Kendal Cooper for the best defender and four other nominees for the MVP title.
In accepting the MVP award, Joseph said, “Hard work, discipline and commitment to the team paid off. I am happy that I won and I’m looking forward to the 2017 season. I expect this year to be even more exciting and intriguing. As a player (and a club), we will be going out to capture at least one major title this year.”
Other awards were: Most Disciplined Player (Kendal Cooper), Most Improved Player (AkimBiscette), Most Goals (Teran John, 7).
