TWO exciting quarterfinals matches are billed for the Phillip Marcellin Grounds this weekend in the Saint Lucia Football Association/Saint Lucia Sports Online-sponsored National Under-15 tournament.
From 4:00 p.m. today, Mabouya Valley play Roseau Valley while Micoud take on Canaries from 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.
The four teams on show have a number of talented players with a never-say-die attitude and football fans should see some of the island’s future stars do battle for semifinal berths.
The competition continues next Tuesday with the last quarterfinal match-up as Marchand play home team Vieux Fort South from 5:00 p.m. at the PMG.
Meanwhile, in the first quarterfinal played last Sunday at the PMG, Gros Islet defeated Soufriere 2-0 with goals in either half of play.
