The residents of the often quiet and community of Barre Denis woke up grief-stricken as they struggle to come to terms with news of yet another homicide in Saint Lucia.
Dead is Jamal Fredrick in what many have described as an unnecessary and senseless act.
It is alleged that an individual known to Fredrick stabbed him after he attempted to quell a dispute between the alleged attacker and another individual.
Police investigations are ongoing into the matter that will see Saint Lucia’s homicide rate increase yet again.
