PRIME Minister Allen M. Chastanet will leave the island this weekend for a three-country trip. Over the course of eight days, he will visit London, Paris and Morocco respectively.

In London, the Prime Pinister will meet with the staff of the High Commission for Saint Lucia. He will also pay a courtesy call on the new British government.

In Paris, the islandā€™s leader will meet with marketing agents, as the Government advances plans to establish a buoyant banana export arrangement with France.

During the final leg of his trip, the Prime Minister will visit Morocco with the objective of strengthening governmental ties, particularly in the area of agriculture. Over the years, Morocco has been very instrumental in assisting the development of the islandā€™s agricultural sector.

Prime Minister Chastanet will be accompanied by Ezechiel Joseph, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Physical Planning, Natural Resources and Co-operatives.
