ST. LUCIA’S premier investment agency, Invest St. Lucia, is hoping to increase foreign investment flows into the country by attending three investment missions in the United States of America.
McHale Andrew, Invest St. Lucia CEO, is presently leading a three-member delegation that is now in Miami, Florida participating in the Caribbean Hotel and Resorts Investment Summit (CHRIS).
The delegation is hoping to get out of CHRIS an opportunity to network with the international and regional executives within the tourism industry. The delegation also hopes to promote the potential for additional lucrative investments in St. Lucia’s tourism sector.
While in Miami the delegation will participate in the third staging of the Caribbean Investment Summit which is scheduled for Friday at the Marriott Hotel. The summit is organized by the Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) in collaboration with the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA).
From Miami, the delegation is expected to fly to San Francisco to participate in the NEXUS 2016 Business Process Outsourcing Event. Now in its sixth year, the Conference brings together senior technology and business investors seeking to understand how to participate and invest in Latin America and Caribbean economies.
According to Invest St. Lucia the networking and content programme is geared to increase market knowledge for executives responsible for regional and global expansion, third party consulting partnerships, and IT and business process engagements.
Invest St. Lucia anticipates that leads generated by its attendance at those events will continue its thrust towards advancing St. Lucia’s socio-economic development and job creation initiatives.
