Basketball Moved To Beausejour

THE St. Lucia Basketball Federation has announced that because of additional remedial work to be completed at the Vigie Multipurpose Sports Complex in Castries, games scheduled for this weekend will now be moved to the Beausejour Indoor Facility.

Today from 6:00 p.m. Soufriere plays Morne Fortune Gladiators and Courts Jets meets VBCC Warlords at 8:00 p.m.

Tomorrow, Maranatha Eagles takes on Combined Schools from 5:00 p.m. and the RSLPF Combined Forces meets Sandals High Risers at 7:00 p.m.

The Games scheduled for play in Micoud will remain the same, Today, BBC against St. Lucia Fire Service from 6:00 p.m. and Micoud Hustlerz versus Canaries Moon River Champs at 8:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, matches on Thursday in Division 1 did not take place due to the inclement weather. The Combined Schools against Sandals High Risers will now be rescheduled.

In Soufriere, an upset was looming when Premier League’s VBCC Warlords were faced with a 9-point deficit 48 – 39 against home team Soufriere Sulphur Stars with less than eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

Heavy showers forced the premature end of that game which will will be rescheduled to resume at the same juncture it ended in the 4th quarter.
