M&C Trash Distillers 6-1
WITH a whopping 50 goals scored in nine games so far, the Beausejour Indoor Practice Facility will come alive this evening for more entrainment and cheering by supporters from the various business houses as football action in the inaugural Commercial Futsal League continues.
From 6:30 p.m. LUCELEC will play Windward and Leeward Brewery Limited, while Harris Paints meets Scotia Bank at 7.25 p.m., and at 8.20 p.m. J.Q. Group of Companies, comes up against St.Lucia Distillers.
Meanwhile, on day three of the tournament in a Group C match-up, Peter and Company had the better of LIME 4 – 0. For Peter and Company there was one goal each for Nilan William and Ashley Edward, while Marcus Toussaint found the back of the nets twice.
In Group D, M&C Drugstore went down to St. Lucia Distillers 6 – 1. For SLD goals were scored by Kevin Antoine, Nicky Henry, Jamal Antoine, Bertrand Henry, Denison Fitz and Stephan Peterson, while Y. Henry scored M & C Drugstore’s lone goal.
Day two results – in Group A, LUCELEC defeated Bank of St. Lucia 3 – 1. The goal scorers for LUCELEC, Lucius Prospere with 2 and Bernard Serieux 1, while Robin Dwarkasighn pulled one back for BOSL.
In Group B – The Ministry of Education breezed past Scotia Bank 4 – 1. For The Ministry of Education the goal scorers, Ian Earnest, Kwan Augustin, Myron Joseph and Maradona Griffith. For Scotia Bank Niale was the goal scorer.
In Group D – FLOW defeated JQ Group of Companies 4 – 1. For FLOW, Kaleb Jn Baptiste scored 2, while Anthony Christopher and Handel Joseph scored one each. Felton Faucher scored J.Q. Group of Companies only goal.
In Group A – J.E. Bergasse went down for the second time in as many matches this time to Windward and Leeward Brewery Limited 6 – 3. The goal scorers for WLBL John Williams 2, Deian Williams 2, Sylvester Henry and Shawn Octave once each. For J.E.B. Shaquil John scored 2 an (own goal) was scored by WLBL.
